User's Guide
Thanks to Meredith for linking to this excellent Trader Joe's Primer for Manhattanittes. I don't agree with everything here -- Trader Joe's is my most reliable source of organic milk for under $4.00 a half-gallon, and a LOT of the frozen food they carry is truly terrible -- but some of the advice is spot-on. Seriously, the Two-Buck Chuck is Not Good. Not that you can get it here in Connecticut -- fucking Puritan heritage -- but trust me, I know. I know.
